Is this the end my friend?
Is this the end my friend?
A Poem by Coyote Poetry
Is this the end my friend?
I saw children being killed in the Middle East .
They are killing babies.
So many mama’s and babies being killed.
Where is God?
Where is the Prophets of peace?
Please lord.
Stop the killing of the innocent.
Allow the gardens of life and minds to grow without fear.
Is this the end my friend?
Jesus told us. Hurt a child. You create pain in him.
Poor Jesus must be crying a million tears for the one million children
dying monthly of starvation.
The guns are a-blazing.
Great cities are falling.
Israel turn the tables.
One was the prey. Now accomplished killer/predator of people in their way.
They is no room in paradise for men who authorize killing of people and destroying cities.
This is the work of evil.
I believe world turning a blind eye.
Leaving small country to countries hiding their true reasons to search and destroy.
I go to the quiet forest.
I pray.
Stop the guns.
Stop the bleeding of poor babies, woman and men trying to hold on to their home and cities.
The blood increases everyday.
The blood bath added more war and killing.
Hate is alive and well in our world.
Brother’s killing brother. Internal struggle destroying once great countries.
What will be left when we kill all the kindness that is left?
Who is crying for the misplaced Libyan and Palestinian?
Israel must stop pushing people away from their homeland
and Libya must regain wisdom.
I’m tire of war.
Where is the gentle hands of peace?
Where are the voices of love to stop the madness?
Is this the end my friend?
Are all of our hands soaked deep in blood?
We don’t see the misery around us?
Was an old myth.
Where Soldiers would not fight anymore.
Where greed and hate lost strength standing alone.
War is a sin.
Killing woman and children for the profit of war.
Make any country involved guilty as the Soldiers or country doing the killing.
Time for people of peace to stand together everywhere.
If you stand for nothing. Don’t raise your voice in disappointment.
What will you do when your child will march off to war because you did
not give a nickle.
War is a sin, my friend.

Thank you for your words, johncoyote, I’m moved. This is so honestly written. Personally I think men will always be at war from time to time – it’s an ugly side of our very nature and it’s been happening all throughout history; I wish there weren’t wars, and it keeps getting worse and all for the wrong reasons now, but on the other hand, there is no such thing as perfect world peace too, and that we wouldn’t have this world we have right now if it weren’t for the wars our forefathers fought. People never learn though. People once said “never again” after World War II happened, that it served as a moral lesson for us all, but men just keep on killing each other still.
I feel for the soldiers who go to war proud and with their country and family in their hearts and end up realizing they’re just fighting for our leaders’ own selfish lust.

Soldier learn the truth. I spend three years in the Middle East. They want to be left alone. I hope for some kind of miracle. Don’t need a WW3. Thank you for your comment.

You speak straight to the heart. No normal person wants war – only those leaders and politicians who profit by it. One day, maybe, we’ll get the leaders the world desperately needs… we can only wish and dream!

Sin & war feed each other. It’s a vicious cycle. Your poem made me cry. I am sure that there are tears in heaven… for now.

There is slow change. Here is the USA. People are trying to know the truth. Media control the population. Create a big story over General’s having girlfriends. No-one care. Easy to hide real problems by blinding people with useless knowledge.

Exactly! case in point. what happened in NY was pushed under the radar while the election was going on…I had no clue those people were still without power till after the election and the news started covering it again. WOW.

FEMA took days off in a national crisis. They fired the leaders. They pay the highest taxes in the USA. New York voted for Obama. They knew he didn’t help them. Poor Red cross had it hand full. I respect Red cross. They assist Soldiers everyday.

A writer today told me he wrote poetry on life and war for fun. I wish Mark Twain was alive. Would tell this writer. Writer’s must stand for the truth and the right. Even at great coast. Mark Twain last book of poetry was against war. He wasn’t a loved man till 50 years after his death. Thank you for the comment.

Thank you. I have been lucky. Met writer’s throughout the world. Keep me in touch with our world. I did good things with a good President. I went on many food and water/medicine mission to Africa and central America in the late nineties for President Clinton. Each day I hold more respect for a man who kept the world from destroying itself. Could use a Bill Clinton today.
