I need a love poem. “Deeper and deeper we shall fall”
Deeper and deeper we shall fall
A Poem by Coyote Poetry
Real proof of love. Holding on tighter in the bad days and celebrating the good days together
She looked at me with eyes of hope and she questioned me. “If you want me. You must tell me so. I want to hear the sweet words of love every day, every hour. I want you to yearn for me when we are apart. Take me at will. Make me feel like your first need. The last need.”
She brought me into her arms and whispered. “Real lovers fall deeper and deeper. Allowing the darkness of the night to ascent two people into the place of no return. Burning desire of flame can grow if the love is true and powerful.”
I told her we are
“Loser/lover
Deceiver/believer
Can you make me believe you are true and forever.
I have died a thousand times in the myth of love.
Sweet and longing kisses had turn dirty and painful with time.
In the game of flesh and bones. Are we just addicted to the flesh and the heat of the wound?”
She kissed me and she opened her hands and told me.
“If the hands are empty and we have nothing to hold tightly into cold and lonely nights. We have
nothing to lose or gain. What do we have? Lovers must love. We must reach for true love/foolish love.
Better to die of heartache than to be a lonely ship with no place to anchor.”
I understood her and I knew we needed wild and untamed love to make us come alive again.
Love is our curse and our blessing. We must bleed to know what love is.
I looked into beautiful hazel eyes.
She fell into my arms and deeper and deeper two lovers reached for the stars and the moon.

You have a great gift, John, of describing in the linguistic form the complex feeling of intimacy considering the vast realm of desires, thoughts, emotions, and feelings intimacy can evoke. However, I wish to note that the love you write about is the romantic kind that reflects our human condition based on the paradox of life that we exist in. Love that just is, can be experienced by us when we are fully present. Thank you for your writing. I enjoy reading your posts. Warmest regards 🙂

You are right. Old words can be easier than new words. I believe come a point where love changes. I’m a old man now. Changing Grandchildren diapers and paying bills. Once I lived for passion. Now passion is just a small part of life.

Thank you so much, John. Love does not change. Love just is. What changes is our perception of love as our perception changes through our life’s journey. I do not know what you mean by writing “I lived for passion” because I do not know the nature of passion you used to live for. What I know for sure is what it means to live with passion, because I feel it in my heart, which I refer to as my temple of Truth. I write the word Truth with a capital T in this context because I mean the Truth that is not subject to my perception, which is ego based and therefore subjective/conditional. My passion is to appreciate the here and now. Nothing else matters. My daily mantra is love, create, and share with endless enthusiasm. Changing diapers for grandchildren is part of the here and now. I am in my early fifties, and my son is 10. So, I hope that maybe in 20+ years I will be changing diapers for my grandchildren as part of my here and now. 🙂
