The Whisper Of Her Eyes

Her eyes play much louder
in the chamber of my mind,
as a flame burns hotter
when flung from the fire;
her gaze, a sea of wonder,
her vision pierces my own,
to invade and o’erwhelm me
with light of her dreams,
more purposeful than mine,
and her more wanton sojourn.

Her eyes, so wide in gazing,
find their mark as masters,
as Rembrandt with each stroke,
her perception impales me;
the mere glimmer of a smile,
worn softly as silk within her,
begets the tremor of my flesh,
and I succumb to her flight,
the soar of her ardent gaze,
as of a whisper o’er my form.
