Longing, belonging, needing and believing.
You are my reasons to live my love.
Falling, soaring and flying to new heights in hope and dreams.
Please sweet love. Read to me my darling.
Allow me to fall into your sweet voice.
Take me to a better and sweeter place.
Hold me, caress me with gentle fingers and hands.
Sing sweet song making me believe.
You are my love and I’m safe in your arms.

This is so beautiful. I love reading to my lover, and he loves being read to, so that’s a great combination.

Yes! I also love to read my poetry and others’ to my kids, grandkids and friends. I’m going to read this one to them. I like it a lot!

I did poetry reading in Monterey, Ca. and Austin, Texas in the nineties. Always fun to share our words and thoughts.

Yes, yes it is! I have done all my readings here in Norman, Oklahoma. At Groovefest, at the University of Oklahoma and at the Unitarian Universalist Church. I get so nervous but then feel so rewarded when people clap and come up to me afterwards to let me know how the poems made them feel.
We touch hearts and minds with words. I wished to heal the world with massage, but can only work on one person at a time. And my body has challenges, have to balance my activities well always and not overwork.
But with poetry, I can touch hundreds of minds at once, perhaps someday thousands.
