“Cigarettes, whiskey and you.”

Cigarettes, whiskey and you

A Poem by Coyote Poetry

Just words

Cigarettes, whiskey and you

I told you. My flawed and imperfect love.

Destine places for the forgotten are the many purgatories where dead men wait..

We, who wandered on the lonely path.

The seekers of frenzy nights and calm days are.

We are never content with organized life and days.

We have the smoke filled taverns, strong whiskey to open our minds

and I have you.

I want to swim in your beauty. Allow your darkness to overtake

my restless mind.

Love is very fragile and some of us.

We are ugly with disappointment and fear the tenderness of true love.
