“The sweetest things
The sweetest things
A Poem by Coyote Poetry
Life is simple. Respect people. Religion should be private. Stay positive.
I have seen so many mysteries and seen so much beauty.
I swam in the Pacific ocean in the early spring storms. Riding my suicide board. I felt so free and helpless. I felt so small but safe.
I stood at the Pinnacle on top of a mountain. I saw four states. The beauty of being able to see so much.
I free-climbed the cliffs in the fault line of Northern California. I sat with the Eagles.
I climbed to Old Castles in Germany. I felt the power and age of a once powerful people.
I stood at the Pyramids in Egypt. A strange feeling of loneliness overtook me.
I went to South and Central America. Stood at temples. I felt the power of the old Naguals.
My dream and vision were to see and try to understand all the different people.
In all my trips and meeting many kind souls in this world.
I learn all fathers and mothers love their children.
Everyone wants a warm bed and home to live in.
I never met a man or woman who wanted to die.

I can only imagine those places. It’s when I read about them, that i can begin to see them.

I want to travel again. My kids had left and now the grandchildren are here. Maybe one day. My favorite place is. Monterey, California. I will visit the coming year.

I like to travel too, but have not been very many places. Never been out of US, except Windsor. Would love to see the West coast. I like the Appalachian states. I was going to move to North Carolina, but could not afford it.

You have time. Save a little money weekly and maybe you can visit the places you want. The Appalachian mountain are close.

Yes, I have been there several times. I would do that if I could, but my circumstances are not that good right now.

I hope for better day. New USA leadership. I hope the world will change for the better? Many people are struggling.

It seems like there’s been one struggle after another though. It never really goes away for certain segments of the population. I have always kept up with events, even when I was a kid. There’s always been something happening, whether it be a war, military action, economic trouble, crime, racism, environmental issues, political corruption and scandal. It never ends.

I pray we become kinder. World is in deep trouble. Army took me to dark places. I saw the view of war. No winner in war. Just the poor people in the way of the war machine.

That is true, collateral damage is not the way we should be thinking. As long as we fight, we will have people that fight back.A lot of people that scream for war, don’t have a clue. They have not been shot at or had to kill. I have a piece I wrote about my dad in WWII. I haven’t posted it, because I thought it would be offensive. Maybe you could read it and tell me what you think.

I will read. Real life is more scary than non-fiction sometime.

That’s cool, do you have somewhere I can send it? i don’t want to put it on here. Is there a private message option on this site. The outline revolves around a story my father told me about WWII, when he was in the Marines and fighting in the Battle Of Okinawa. he did something that really upset me as I have become older. I hope I did not delete it. It is a rough draft. Ire-worked it once, but I think I did not save that version. It is called, “I Know A Man”

Enjoy your time off. I have a busy week. several appointments, and going to get a new to me(used vehicle). I have been sick the past few days. I have to recover enough to start the week, since I have so much to do. Hope you have a good time while you are off.

Thank you S. K . for reading. I saw the death camps in Europe. This place was loaded with great lost and sadness. Good to travel. To learn to understand our world.
