I awoke pissed off today. Then my Poet of music Leonard Cohen set me off to describe my emotion.
(I borrow a few lines from Leonard Cohen.
Sometime we need to learn emotion and feelings
from people who lived a long life.)

“Mr. President. Did you see the confusion you are causing? You want to create hate and separation. Do you give a shit about the people? The bloody rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. We the people must remember. We are one people and one earth. Black, brown, red and white. We must gather as one. If we don’t. We will fall as one.
Where are you Mr. President?”Was the fight already fixed.”We have a rich man president?Everybody knows.House representatives. 435 men and woman.I saw your budget.1.1 billion for food and office.2.3 million per representative to live on.How many people have nothing in your states?How many people are homeless?Are the schools teaching the future of the USA properly? Do you walk your streets and see the pain?No equality in the USA yet. Babies being born in the poor cities.With one foot in the grave at the beginning.Wars are being fought.No-one knows why we are fighting anymore?
Today many are demonstrating in the streets. The women stood together. An amazing and beautiful day it was.
President want a fence. Keep the Mexican out. President want to ban countries from entrance to the USA. President want to create a need oil pipeline. He will create this pipeline with blood.
I pray to the sky, the water and the earth.Sent wisdom to the men in-charge. Please ensure all children have food in their belly.Please lord of life and earth.Insure all children have a warm bed to sleep in.Please lord.Give opportunity and strength to the people in need.We need a miracle.War and hate is controlling my world.Please sent some Angels of love and peace to assist.We could use them today.

I awoke with fear.I fear for tomorrow.What will our children have left?What have we done?I hated my father for doing nothing.Now am I any better? I believe I did less.Will my children despise me for doing nothing.It is time to yell.Write to the leaders. All of them. Demonstrate in the streets. Mad man create hate and separation. Thank you John for such a beautiful poem. One thing came to mind when reading this poem and that is nothing catches God by surprise. I just pray that he (God) will have mercy on those who do harm to least of these (His people).
I believe had gone mad. In Iraq and in Africa. Killed Christians. Iraq Christians had ran and hid in the mountain. I pray God remember them and don’t forget them A school in Africa. Terrorist killed the Christian students. Time for all people, religions and races to have a billion person walk for peace. I pray ASAP.
Hard days are a-coming. I hope we choose calm over war. I pray we work together as one. A time of healing is needed. Thank you for reading and the comment. I do appreciate.
I always believe that there is a reason for everything so in this case too. Normally I would wish you strength and positive vibes but because in this case the whole world is involved I think we can wish it to each other
The sad part. USA create the terror. Gave them money and weapons in the Middle East. Can’t punish the mass for the actions of the few. Here in the USA. Our soldiers coming home from wars create by Bush foolishness are create terror. Leaders like to create escape goats and fools follow. I pray we value every life and protect nature. I believe we get what we deserve. Couldn’t find a true leader in the fifty states of the USA. There are many good leaders. If this President gets his wish. Who will be next???
Thank you for sharing your heart 💞. When we are hurt or when we are slapped in the face, the ball is in our hands. We could choose to hate and then they win….Or we could choose to forgive (I believe we win). In the end, I strongly believe God controls all of man’s actions for his glory and purposes. I am a living example of choosing to forgive in so many different ways…..In my 32 years of life, I have been stripped of my human dignity in so many different ways but I choose to forgive. Remember, no man is above God’s will. Thank you again John.
You are right. God and Jesus loved everyone. He didn’t believe in war. He didn’t downgrade a man for being white. He taught them the way of concern, love and forgiveness. I pray will follow the ways of Jesus in the coming days.
I’m half Ojibwa. I do not want blood on the USA soil. I pray the leaders in Washington don’t allow a foolish leader to start a war that no-one will win. The North Dakota Native Americans will stand their ground.
What they are planning is horrendous. I wonder sometimes if Trump and his henchmen have a heart among them. In the end, I hope good will win out John. Our leaders are not standing up, allowing themselves to be bullied and it is shameful.
Persian, have a wonderful history. Proud and beautiful people. People who do not understand history. Act a fool. Iran and USA been like a sister and brother for a long time. We had disagreed and agree over many things but been loyal friends. Cannot allow evil men to create a separation.
They are a beautiful people! And you are right, we cannot allow evil men to separate us. So I take to the only sword I know in order to fight back, my pen! 🙂
