Without Borders (Short Poem)
Please read and enjoy the amazing poetry by a talented writer.
I cannot see a better time to showcase this poem I had posted before and urge all to remove religion and borders as a reason to torture innocent people.
Borders!
What are they but lines in our own minds?
Lines we draw to keep away one another!
To insult, degrade and torture the weak,
To believe we on the other side of the border,
Are more powerful, are richer and happier!
But borders just divide us, make us weak.
They just don’t make sense anymore.
Let’s open our minds, and our borders,
To let in the ones who need to escape.
~Inspired by the movie ‘The Whistleblower’. The movie shows the darkness and post-war impact on the weakest – the women and girls who are trafficked as sex slaves and prostitutes. And the worst part being it’s the people we are supposed to trust who get involved in the trade.
YES THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED TO DO

I agree. I’m half Ojibwa. I believe will take all four corners of our world to know peace. Walls create separation.
