Good Friday thoughts
Today is a day for the man of peace and love. I believe Jesus would be sadden by the world of today. Children and families are dying and mad men are running our world. No concern for the children and their people. Today I will go to Lake St. Clair and burn sage for peace and for healing. At 2pm I will pray we learn. Every life had value. The child in Syria, the children and people in the way of war. I believe the Christians and Muslims men and women do not want war over peace. They do not want their sons and daughters to die on a battlefield for land and oil. I will pray our leaders learn. Soldiers and nuclear weapons are not the tools of peace. I will pray every child and family in our world is safe and sound. I will pray every child and family have shelter and food. I pray our world leaders learn. Every life had purpose. Terror need reasons to grow and multiply. Find the people who finance the terror and stop them from create new hate and separation. We need leaders who lead with concern, kindness and love. A raised fist isn’t the road to peace. Two people hands meeting as one in the hope of peace and forgiveness is needed. Today is a day to remember Jesus. We need to remember the man of peace and love.

“Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you”
“If anyone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also”
“Blessed are the peacemakers”
“Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy”
“But love your enemies, and do good”
John man!! I strongly with the ststement you made in your post about how Jesus would be sadden of what is operating in this society, and world. I just truly agree because most of these things that are going in this world need to come to a complete end.

I hope not. I have children and grandchildren. Always hope. Maybe our children will heal our sins?

I hold great concern. Few people paying attention. The older generation is gone. Old wars were hard and costly. These kids don’t want to know rationing and supporting a world war. Were hard days. My grandparent told me of little food and great struggle.
