The Stormy SeaA Poem by Coyote Poetry ![]() When dreams die. We have no reason or purpose. Need to keep hope and love alive. The beauty of the Monterey bay. The Poets read at the Pacific Grove coffee shop tonight. Six Poets old and young after the reading share some wine The cliffs are amazing. I’m 34 years old. She is holding my hand. I try to dilute her pain and affliction with stories We walked the beach of Monterey. Only the ocean and the moon know the secret of I watch her run into the cold ocean water. She asked me. Open the door to my heart. Let’s remove the barricade I told her. She smiled and pull me up. She begin with gentle and sweet kiss. The light of morning. Her eyes are bright and hopeful. I smiled and brought her close. I have tasted your sweet lips. My sweet and sad Poet. I want your dreams to flourish to hope and great possibility. I whispered. Coyote / © 2010 Coyote Poetry
