My Christmas wish

My Christmas prayer

A Poem by Coyote Poetry

"

Just words

"

Christmas morning
The snow blessed dear Michigan last night.
Grandchildren are coming at noon.
Bills are paid and the wife is content.
Everyone in the family is healthy.
Thank you Lord of life and death for the many blessings.
I appreciate the new day and the opportunity to know more laughter and more time
with my family and friends.

My Christmas wish

My Christmas wish isn’t for me this year.
I’m praying for the people struggling dear Lord.
I’m praying for my dear brother and my dear friends fighting the cancer.
They can heal and be strong and wise for me for many more years.
Please Lord of life and death.
Heal the sorrow of this year, so much pain and hurt learned in my world.
So much hate and need for revenge.
Please teach this world. Two raised fists cannot know peace.
Please take of the soldiers.
So many standing tall and they are away from their families.
My Christmas wish is simple.
Some peace and calm for my world.
Teach all people.
Guns and bombs don’t care if you are a Christian, a Muslim or a non-believer.
Please Lord.
Teach the world. Lead with love, concern and kindness.
Sometime we must bend and flex so all children can be safe and sound in our world.
