Some poetry

I found you waiting, holding flowers of blue.
I watched you pondering life and possibility.
Your eyes rose up and you asked me. Was I okay?
I told you. I create an unforgettable memory.
And was you.

I was your Michigan cowboy and you were my Texas honey.

We had Austin city nights and the Texas two-step.

You were as pretty as the setting sun falling into the west and we loved the beer and the whiskey.

We had today, tomorrow was promised yet.

We both damn the memory of love and we couldn’t be alone.

Texas nights, untamed and free.

We found the purgatory Inn for people seeking reasons to be alive.
