Honey in my Tea

A wonderful poem shared by a talented writer.

Text and Teas

“Honey in my Tea”

Let me live in a world
Of rose colored lenses

Where ideal
Is real

Where roses stop you,
Singing their siren call to enjoy

Where life is sweet
And love runs wild

Let me live in this moment,
Here, with you

Where we’re dripping
In serendipity

And loving every minute
Of this happy accident.

I’m content
When I’m with you

Like a cheesy film
With actors in love

Like Bashful, Happy, and Dopey
In a sweet combine.

Honey in my tea,
Sugar in my coffee.

I want that sunflower
Kind of love,

Flowers in hair,
Barefoot, without inhibition.
