The Red, White and Purple Poppy.
Wonderful words and thoughts shared.
I do not want to upset anyone but as we draw near to Rememberance Day I just wanted to share my feelings on the poppies we wear. I wrote this back in 2018.

The Feminists who were demanding the vote for women at the time did not want the common man in England to have the vote – not all men actually had the right to vote. Despite the fact that it was the common men who were being sent overseas to die in the trenches the Feminists wanted to deny them the right to choose the leaders who were sending them to die.

Thank you for explaining the colors of the poppies. I heard that Whole Foods prohibits its employees from wearing poppies for some reason. Sad that there’s no allowance of respect for soldiers who sacrificed their lives.
