the autumn, the falling leaves

a philosophical journey heading for oblivion


The apples fall like teardrops

red bruises searching for an escape


Time for due departure, farewell

to find me again

before any further transgression




As for you, have you built your death vessel?

make it with care because you’ll need it


Rain like the apples will fall

thick, like thunder and lightning, upon the soil

void of trees void of forests

void of receding water


And the hint of death like the smell of ashes

because of your last cooked meal


Can you still smell it?


On the purple bruised body, a scared soul

you saw yourself curled up; face scrunched up because of the cold

the wind howling through your ears…
