Girl in Rain, A Vision

A amazing poem shared by a talented writer.

Impressions, Expressions & Musings

If rain is sky weeping,
What do I call her
As she stands in the rain
Drenched and cold
Unmoving, lost in her world,
A hollow, faraway look
In those beautiful eyes
Truly, the windows to her soul.
I stand mesmerized
Lost in the fathomless ocean
And soaring mountains
Reflected in the dark depths of her eyes
When she turns her
Pallid face, ethereal
And framed by dark curtains
Of hair hanging in clumps,
And I notice a half-formed
Smile, neither joyous
Nor condemning
Spreading across her lips.
