Monument
You ran away from your past
Erasing all evidence of yourself
Worried the old promise might pursue you perhaps?
What if one day by accident
We meet again
The heart shall sidestep, freeze
The door deadlocked
Me forgetting the security code
But you won’t have to worry
Forget about the storm surrounding the fire
How wonderful is it to watch heaven soothe the earth
A period when, I had time to dream
Not a hint of it and all rocks have shattered in my head
How long with the flame grapple with the wind
Rather sad. But rather brave
Glancing over the poem, (em)did you know
The source of my suffering is that fire?
Missing death the way I miss my parent’s house
Wishing I never met you if I were to begin again
