Lê Vĩnh Tài | sometimes, a poet is forgotten by people up high (247)

Amazing poetry shared.

By Lê Vĩnh Tài, translated by Nguyễn Thị Phương Trâm

a poet is forgotten by people up high

falls apart and die

when he dies, you’ll see the appearance of a crack

breaking in half also something up there

the screams

like a poem crumbling, falling apart

an emptiness after a fallen ancient tree

leaves behind crazy desperation, the creams

to escape and resolve such craziness

they perform rites of internment and even threaten him with awards

but he had managed to disappear in time

before they showered him with praise

looked for him

he hid under the flowers

and his soul bloomed

beneath the sunlight, once again he knew he was abandoned

because of those little people

sadly he didn’t know what else to do

except for himself, he cried

they say that’s what you call a tragedy, something of beauty
