Sonnet: A Weeping Poet
Amazing poetry by a talented writer. Please read her work.
*****
I weep, and as I weep, the poems roll
Forth into words upon the pristine page
Coalescing to a collected whole
Which mirrors my reflection as I age
Driven from post to pillar, and from there
Back to the unforgiving post again
Who can say whether ever, anywhere
Any security of haven I may gain
In face of forces awesome in their might
Clandestine in their darkened energy
My only hope: continue to do right
And trust an angel to look after me
Either successful in her saving grace,
Or otherwise, with tears upon her face
*****
This poet is so poor that she canβt even pay proper attention. The littlest contribution, believe her, will be vastly appreciated β
Hey, thanks for the timely shot in the arm, my good brother π

A poet, a literary community encourager, and a man of humility also. My pleasure, brother.
