“humans without borders, that’s what the world needs –
beings of conscience and courage, with no rigidity of religion, gender, nationality, or any other.”

I would like to believe in this kind of world, too. Though, humans are structured to not create war out of hatred, though out of love. For the existence of hatred to be bred, there must have been love, before it. We are always challenged to love, and love, again, by forsaking hatred and personal desire. To do for others, we protect. That is what inspires war.
Inspiration to soldiers. Soldiers who love their nation, their home, their wives, and the children from their wives. Protection. It is love.
I would like to believe in a world without division. Though, to understand what love is, it creates those borders. Love makes those borders, because we protect the endangered from what makes itself dangerous. Just as a mother would restrict her child from touching the fire in the stove, is no different than some world leader making it more restrictive for people to enter his country.
It is not hatred to these things, though only the love that makes a person want to protect who one is close to. For if we loved everyone, we would love no one. Without trust, there is no love, as there is no way for people to be vulnerable, in that love.

I agree my friend. We live in a one-sided world. If the children knew history. They would do things differently. I pray for better days.
