me, recollecting the Sun
.
i left to-night
words yet entirely uttered
words yet wholly explained
words
heard the night
in the quiet darkness .
.
i left in the darkness
thoughts
crumps
imagined
hollow
things ought forgotten
in the first light .
.
i left behind my eyes
a pair of fish swimming upon the ceiling free
a borderless dark shoreline
left behind
my corpse awash the shore
a decay
upon dawn .
.
i left to
dreams
caught in a net
frozen memories
longings
aching hollowness
left behind my head
rolling
in the dark somewhere .
.
i left to
your music
hidden resounding ever far
in our goodbyes
not a spoken word
be seeing you
one-night
when words are no longer necessary
that only the silence knows
what we want…
